Valentines at YSF21 February 2014What can i say after a week after Valentines day, i am now feeling a bit more normal, we were shattered, and frazzled. It was a marathan, non stop for 4 days, It was not that we was not prepared, it was the sheer volume of phone calls, customers in the shop, it was manic.I ordered the same as last year, but by the wednesday i knew we would not have enough, so i ordered more flowers for the thursday, by lunchtime we had sold virtually all we had, so another order of flowers for friday was placed. I was panicking i had bought too much, but thankfully i had bought enough. we sold out of Roses by 2pm on the 14th, and we also had to turn our webite off for orders for delivery due to our drivers getting the deliveries of flowers out on time. This is why you should always order flowers from a local high street florist and not a relay service or a supermarket to order a special delivery ...we will always be honest with you if we can get your delivery to the recipient on time, if we cannot we will tell you and give you an alternative. The relay companies on the social media is alive with hundreds of upset customers who have been let down, as there flowers and gifts did not turn up, and there loved ones left disappointed. Dont be let down for Mothers day 30th March ORDER from your local Florist, make it more personal have your local florists delivery driver deliver your flowers and dont let your special mum be welcomed by a box of flowers that has traveled half way around the uk by a courier company delivering her Mothers Day flowers.
